Phantom News
Mock News Broadcast
This is a mock news broadcast I worked with a team of my student peers to create as part of Com Agency. My role was that of the graphic designer, so I created the logo and all the still images that appear within the program. I also helped with the video production in other ways such as setting up lighting for the in studio video of our anchor and sorting through our rough material to organize it for our editor (taking some of the strain off of him). There were rough patches, of course, and a serious deadline crunch, but overall I am glad with the finished product and appreciated the challenge of working in a simulated newsroom.

eglubak final project
Horses for Hope Commercial
I created this video for my final project in Digital Media Convergence at WPU. It is a promotional video for Horse for Hope: Therapeutic Riding, and it was required to be between 3 and 5 minutes long. I wanted this video to explain what this organization was, tell a bit about the success stories of this program, and strengthen the organization's online presence. Considering I lacked a proper lavaliere mic for the interviews or a mono-pod to stabilize the camera since I had only school equipment to work with, this video came out very well in my opinion. All the editing was done in Final Cut Pro.

RLS Promo
RLS Preschool Promo Video
I made this video for my final project in Media Editing at WPU. It is a promotional video for Resurrection Lutheran Preschool, and it was required to be 30 seconds long. The purpose of this video was to promote the preschool's new director and the new direction she was taking the preschool in as well as help build the organization's online presence. I conducted two interviews to get audio clips for the video, though I was still lacking a proper microphone for doing so which left me with the camera mic. All the editing was done in Final Cut Pro.

Campaign ad
Mock Election Campaign Ad
This video was created for a mock election campaign done at WPU. For those of us in Media Editing, we created 30 second political advertisements using Final Cut Pro for our assigned candidate which in my case was "Roy Cooper". This project was done in a group of three and we were required to coordinate shooting times and locations with our candidate and their campaign manager. This video features a brief interview with a "regular citizen" as well as custom-made titles. Like in the previous videos, the audio quality is not the best as we had only the school provided equipment to work with.

Mobile app
D&D Mobile App
This is an animation I created in After Effects for Motion for the Screen at WPU. The project was to design a basic mobile app with buttons and different pages then show how they would move within the app. I decided to make an guide to the monsters of Dungeons & Dragons and tried to make it have an odd book sort of artstyle. This app features a homepage, a few menus, several buttons that lead to other pages as well as a search bar, and a few sample monster pages. Different effects such as keyframing, tilting, squashing and stretching, and lowering opacity were used.

Infographic
Tesla Animated Infographic
This is an infographic I made in After Effects about Nikola Tesla in Motion for the Screen. The project was to create an infographic that explained something and was at least 30 seconds long. Instead of using stock images, I decided to create all the graphics myself in Illustrator, which admittedly was quite an undertaking. I then had to animate my graphics and text to do various things such as move/walk across the screen or flash white as the lightning bolts did.

Game Intro
Mock Video Game Opening: Chronomancer
This was my final project for Motion for the Screen. We were tasked with creating a short intro for a video game or movie. I decided to create a opening screen for Chronomancer, a story I had been writing about a time traveler. I created the graphics in Photoshop, including the several decaying versions of the clock and the metallic text. I then animated it in After Effects to do shorter movements like the grass rustling and longer effects like the sky growing darker. The "start" button is pressed at the end before leading into a rippling, electric effect to signal the game beginning.
