In addition to the Logo and PowerPoint Template for Student Showcase, I also help to create a few other deliverables. Our group, for instance, decided to give Student Showcase a much stronger social media presence to help advertise it to both the public and students of WPU in the hope of increasing attendance. We decided to post promotional material, like graphics and short videos, on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. I created a graphic formatted like a promotional poster to post that incorporated the green, white, and black color scheme we had established for the Showcase brand as well as some images of Showcase from the previous year (2016). This graphic's purpose was not only to spread the word of when Showcase was happening but also to encourage students to present in the panels and sessions of Showcase.
The second deliverable I created were the door signs for Student Showcase. As there are many unfamiliar with WPU's campus visiting on the day of Showcase, our group determined that we should create signs to tell where the different presentations were taking place. So I created 11x17 posters to hang on the doors of the different rooms, listing the different sessions and panels taking place in that particular room throughout the day. I focused on keeping the design basic and the text large so that it could be read at a glance without much effort. I kept to the same Showcase brand color scheme of white with differing shades of green and prominently displayed the logo in the top corner to further strengthen the brand look of Showcase. The sign featured below is one of several used during Student Showcase.
